Mobile Developer - iOS

We’re looking for an iOS Developer to join our growing team in either Tallinn or London. The role is a unique opportunity to join one of the fastest growing companies in Europe and play a central role in developing our mobile app to help millions more potential customers save money by using TransferWise.

Your mission:

• You’ll be building features in our iOS app for our debit card. This starts from creating the smoothest onboarding people have ever seen and ends with giving customers the experience that makes them tweet about us
• Our iOS guild is less than 20 people, so being a part of our architectural discussions is an everyday thing, where everyone’s thoughts are considered to improve our app
• You’ll be part of designing the API and services that power the app
• You’ll be closely working with our customer support team, analysts and designers to figure out the biggest opportunities for our app and product.

A bit about you:

• iOS development experience in Swift and familiarity with Core Data or similar persistence frameworks
• Understanding of different architectural UI design patterns
• Passionate about writing Unit Tests and aiming for a very high level of code coverage
• Experience building rich and complex iOS apps that delight users
• Automation tools such as Jenkins and Fastlane
• Familiar with RESTful APIs
• You’re able to work independently and plan your own solutions to problems
• You put the customer at the heart of everything you do and empathy drives every decision you make.

Some extra skills that would be awesome:

• Familiarity with Android development and MVP design patterns
• Experience in FinTech or banking
• Broad understanding of the concept of minimum viable product and conversion rates
• Experience with Grails, Groovy, Spring Boot or any other back-end MVC Frameworks.
