To empower TransferWise and move us closer to achieving that mission, we are looking for a  talented People Analytics Lead to join our growing People Team in either London or Tallinn. You’ll report to the Chief People Officer and in turn, lead a small, talented team of analysts. They have done an amazing job to provide data both inside and outside the People team, but there is a significant amount of uncharted territory. Defining the vision, leading growth, and being an advocate for People Analytics are all pillars of the role, but we are just at the beginning of the journey - getting hands on analysing data, building models, and upskilling your team will be key to creating impact.


What you’ll be doing


  • Grow and develop a small team of People Analysts.
  • Create a team vision and strategy. Plan how we scale TransferWise from 1500 to 5000 people.
  • Lead by example, own, and evolve our current practices - hiring forecasting, engagement, people/candidate feedback surveys, etc.
  • Automate reporting and make sure that all Leads across TransferWise are making data-driven people decisions.
  • Define and own metrics and KPI’s for the People Team. Ensure that we are using data to proactively identify problems and opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with our People Technology Team to ensure that HR systems — soon to be Workday — are working seamlessly within our infrastructure.  

Experience that you’ll need


  • Built and owned HR or People Analytics, insights, and automation in a high-growth, high-speed business.
  • Built, scaled, and developed a team of Analysts.
  • Impressive Excel, SQL, and Python skills. You have the ability to not only execute but coach and lead your team with best practices.
  • Experience applying ML or automating complex workflows. It’s not a must, but it would be awesome.
  • Managed large-scale integrations with HR systems and other tools i.e Workday, Looker, Visier, etc.
  • Built and shipped products/projects in a product-led, lean, and constantly iterating environment.
  • Partnered closely with other People Team functions and enabled them to work collaboratively around KPI’s and projects - this could be HR Operations, Recruitment, People Experience, etc.
