What you’ll be working on

You will be working as part of the Security team in Security Program subteam. You will take ownership of global security policies and training materials. You will be improving and developing TransferWise security processes, employee awareness program and evidence gathering for IT audits. Together with Security Ops, Security Development, Compliance and Legal teams you will find new ways to keep our customers and TransferWise safe and compliant in all regions across the world.

Must haves

• Passionate about Cybersecurity and Data Protection;
• Have strong communication skills and the ability to articulate complex concepts to other Wisers.
• Previous experience with infosec standards like ISO27001, SOC, PCI DSS
• Self-starter with track record of successfully working with a wide array of functional groups across an organization and as well as working independently.
• Have excellent attention to detail.
• Are willing to travel, to work and learn with other teams.
• Be excited to work in a high-growth company, and throw themselves fully into a revolution.
• Be open, communicative, and fun to work with.

Nice to haves

• Relevant Information Information Security qualification (auditor, implementer or training certification);
• Willingness to work towards relevant Information Security qualifications;
• Basic understanding of Linux and MacOS as a user;
• Basic understanding of statistics and neural networks;
• Experience with our technical stack (https://tech.transferwise.com/the-transferwise-stack-heartbeat-of-our-little-revolution/);
• Understanding of Scrum and Agile development;
