Recently announced as Europe’s most valuable fintech, we’re on the hunt for a Senior HR Assistant (People Operations Specialist) to help ensure everything runs like clockwork for our growing US population in Tampa and NYC offices.

Your mission:

• Ensure our HR system and all employee records are up to date and correct; setting up new employees, tracking attendance and working hours, benefits enrolments.
• Administration of payroll processes and benefits programs.
• Prepare references for employees as needed (employment, rental, visas etc.).
• Run and analyse reports on US employee data.
• Maintain the US People Operations pages and content on Confluence (our internal portal) so employees can access the correct information they need anytime.
• Run the local joiners induction sessions, sharing relevant information with new starters about their benefits entitlements, etc.
• Help out with ER issues; taking notes in meetings, maintaining records etc.
• Be the point of contact for any employee questions and queries.
• Provide support to the wider People team with ad-hoc tasks and project-based work.
• Contribute towards the bi-annual planning cycles by attending review sessions, collating data on team performance, sharing ideas for improvements and new projects, etc.

A bit about you

• Computer, payroll and HRIS literate (ideally familiar with G-suite and/or WorkDay).
• Exposure to ER cases.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Awesome at prioritizing and building relationships.
• Ability to deal with confidential information and stakeholders in a professional manner.
• Can-do attitude and a positive mindset.
• Honest, able to own up to mistakes and learn from them (we all make them, after all) and reliable - someone who never breaks promises.
• Flexibility for domestic US travel (approx once a quarter but sometimes more) and international travel (approx twice a year).
• Eligible to work in the US. Sadly we’re not offering visa sponsorship for this role.

Bonus points for:

• Spanish or Portugese language skills.
• Experience in a fast paced company where no 2 days are the same.
