Your role


Our Customer Marketing Manager for Customer Advocacy & Comarketing will focus on global strategies and campaigns that will identify and leverage our most engaged customers to act as ambassadors that drive sales, referrals, brand growth, and customer insights. You will help to form Trustpilot’s Customer Advisory Panel and identify and engage with customers for testimonials, references, referrals, and case studies. You will also create campaigns to drive Trustpilot logo use in advertising & marketing among our customer base, leveraging our own customers to help grow Trustpilot brand recognition and affinity in key markets.



Your Responsibilities


  • Gain a deep understanding of the stakeholder groups who benefit from customer advocates (Sales, Product, Demand Gen Marketing, and Customer Success) so that you can build global and regional programs and identify and deliver advocates that meet their needs
  • Establish Trustpilot’s Customer Advisory Panel
  • Maintain and optimize strategy for identifying, recruiting, engaging with, and delighting customer advocates
  • Execute and track performance of campaigns to drive comarketing (Trustpilot logo use in our customers’ advertising and marketing)
  • Track and analyze comarketing behavior
  • Assist with the ideation and production of customer case studies and testimonials
  • Plan and execute events that celebrate customers and leverage our customers’ stories to drive interest in Trustpilot

Required experience


  • Bachelor or master degree with emphasis on communications, marketing, and/or business
  • 2-5 years experience in a similar customer advocacy, customer marketing, product marketing, loyalty marketing, lifecycle marketing, and/or retention marketing position
  • Experience creating and executing multi-channel marketing campaigns and programs that drive customer engagement and loyalty

Our ideal candidate:


  • Fluent in written and spoken English, and skilled with writing effective marketing copy in English
  • True extrovert with a passion for relationship-building
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including introducing and defending new ideas and campaigns to senior stakeholders
  • Exceptional project management capabilities
  • Analytical skills to determine marketing effectiveness and ROI of various campaigns
  • Creative marketing and communication skills
  • Strategic mindset to see beyond the day-to-day grind to help reach marketing and sales goals and overall improve the customer experience
  • Self-starting, confident individual able to perform in an entrepreneurial, agile environment 
  • Comfortable with spreadsheet analysis and manipulation

We’re also looking for:


  • Proficiency in at least one of the following languages: French, Dutch, Danish, German, or Italian
  • Familiarity with B2B marketing, lead generation, and sales processes
