Due to exciting growth, we now have an opening for a VP of Product Marketing, based in either our London or New York office. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, this role will be pivotal in taking our Product Marketing strategy to the next level.


We are looking for a strategic, results-oriented leader who will help us position the product and company for growth and tell the ‘Why Trustpilot” story of bringing consumers and businesses together to collaborate, innovate and build trust on the most transparent open review platform in the world.


Specific accountabilities will include:


  • Develop both company and product positioning and messaging that differentiates Trustpilot by understanding our brand, customer needs, product roadmap, market trends, and competitive forces
  • Own go-to-market launch planning to ensure successful, integrated launches for new product features and company solutions to grow the business from awareness to adoption through engagement
  • Operate in a trusted advisor capacity with Product Management & Sales Leadership to establish a continuous feedback loop (encompassing market trends, customer needs, and competitive factors) to influence the product development roadmap for both consumers and businesses
  • Lead product packaging and pricing conversations and decisions. Partner with product teams on optimal pricing models and strategies for new products and bundled solutions, and provide recommendations to executives
  • Work closely with brand and go-to-market teams on brand initiatives and value proposition. Collaborate with customer marketing on telling the Trustpilot story through the voice of our customer
  • Support any media outreach, social marketing initiatives, and field marketing campaigns and events
  • Analyze the competition and define key use cases for new product feature releases; focus on enabling global marketing, sales, and client success teams to articulate and evangelize for Trustpilot  
  • Brief the executive team when needed on product, marketing, competition and positioning

Key to success in this role will be an ability to manage multiple agendas from the Senior Leadership Team and collaborate effectively across the organization, while using well developed influencing skills to deliver the required outcomes of Marketing.


The successful candidate for this role will have significant experience in senior roles within the product and marketing space, focusing on bringing business-to-business services to market.


Other required skills and experience include:


  • 10+ years in high-growth, B2B marketing in SaaS based or ecommerce companies
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, both in building teams and influencing company direction
  • Exceptional communication & presentation skills. Verbally articulate and skilled at telling a visual story
  • Passionate about customer success and technologies that impact companies and their customers
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, both in building teams and influencing company direction
  • Established track record in spearheading successful integrated product launches with measurable results
  • Strong analytical skills and passion for analyzing products, competitors, and market dynamics. Can quickly synthesize disparate data into a ‘position’ and craft messaging that connects with a diverse audience of stakeholders; including customers and executives
  • Has demonstrated an ability to dive into a product and become a champion and promote features, use cases, and value propositions to customers
  • A hands-on, “can do” attitude, and a drive for outcome focussed performance
