We are currently looking for a Sales Team Manager to join our thriving sales team based in our London office, responsible for recruitment, coaching and training a team of sales professionals with ranging experience. You will play a vital role in our efforts to leverage a world-class learning and development environment and high performing sales culture. Our aim is to become the global No.1 online review platform. It is the job of the sales manager to recruit and develop talent that will get us there. Trustpilot is a hyper-growth start-up, therefore, we are looking for an agile, team player who is passionate about what we do.


Responsibilities:


  • Manage a high performance sales team (6-10 Business Development Managers & Account Development Representatives) cultivating, developing and maintaining a high-performing team
  • Reach and exceed Team sales goals while contributing to overall business objectives
  • Full employee lifecycle management-Performance and coaching, conducting weekly team meetings, 1-2-1’s, performance reviews, monthly & quarterly reviews
  • Work closely with the learning and development team to identify and execute on individual and team training needs
  • Identify and understand trends within eCommerce, Saas and technology industries and apply learnings to help generate further new business
  • Provide accurate forecasts weekly & monthly
  • Work closely with the VP of Sales and the other Sales Managers to ensure that progress aligns with the organization’s overall marketing strategy and sales team objectives
  • Develop motivational incentives

Skills Required:


  • 5+ years sales management experience
  • Ability to lead, inspire and motivate people
  • Experience working in an agile start-up/small company
  • Must be able to demonstrate a track record of overachievement against assigned sales quotas as a manager
  • Experience selling an enterprise solution in the UK online marketing field
  • Understanding of the e-commerce, Saas, Digital marketing, social media and marketing space
  • Ability to coach and develop an inside sales team on all aspects of sales process - from lead gen to pipe-line development and closing business
  • Ability to create a positive, driven sales culture and great team spirit
  • Have knowledge of Retention / Growth and Net New sales processes
  • Familiarity with sales and marketing automation systems (e.g. Salesforce, LinkedIn)
  • Self-motivated, innovative, multi-tasker who is creative and analytical
  • Competitive and winning mentality
  • Excellent oral, and written skills
