About the Tech Team:

We’re a technology based startup and we depend on our online platform to provide the best possible service to students and landlords. This is where the tech team comes in and why it is core to Uniplaces. The team works very tightly with Product and Product Design and operational product roadmap decisions are taken with everyone’s input - whether you’re playing with code, data, scripts or infrastructure you’ll collaborate with the wider team.


Requirements

Your Track Record:

  • At least 3 years experience in Object Oriented Programming and Web Development; 
  • You have the ability and thrive to produce clean and maintainable code; 
  • Speaking in English is natural to you; 
  • You're experienced with PHP7 and/or golang; 
  • Using modern frontend frameworks is normal on your daily basis; 
  • Ideally you'll know how to work your way around ember.js or react native; 
  • You're familiar with AWS and Git workflows; 
  • Experience with multiple databases paradigms. 


Your Style:

  • You're recognised as a fast learner and someone who is eager to learn; 
  • Previous startup environment experience is a nice to have; 
  • You're recognised as a geek and you're proud of it.

  • We offer quick progression & exposure to all areas of the business; 
  • The role is based in Lisbon; 
  • You will start on a 12 month fixed term contract; 
  • For this position, we do not sponsor working visas, but we offer a relocation package in case you are not in Portugal.
