About the Tech Team:

We’re a technology based startup and we depend on our online platform to provide the best possible service to students and landlords. This is where the tech team comes in and why it is core to Uniplaces. The team works very tightly with Product and Product Design and operational product roadmap decisions are taken with everyone’s input - whether you’re playing with code, data, scripts or infrastructure you’ll collaborate with the wider team.

If you join us these will be your responsibilities:

• Design & implement quick solutions to support Marketing and International teams;
• Develop and maintain great software with emphasis on impact;
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies, and software development best practices.

Main requirements:

• Ability to produce clean code;
• Capable of keeping a conversation in English;
• At least 2 years experience in Web development;
• Fast learner and eager to learn;
• Capable of identifying and creating quick but impactful solutions to enhance other teams;
• We consider a junior / fresh graduate profile for this position. 

Nice to have:

• Either PHP, Python, Golang or Javascript knowledge
• ember.js, CSS and html 5 experience
• Familiarity with Git
• Experience in Unix environments
• Github account with code to look at
• Previous startup environment experience
