    As being part of the Apparel Timberland Merchandising you will be an important member that will contribute in executing all merchandising principles and guidelines within the EMEA region. The overarching mission is to strategically, through factual based analysis and relevant market trend sensibility, orchestrate and build the best apparel assortments that drives growth and maximizes profitability within this category.  Together with your Director and Senior Merchandising manager, will find the optimal balance of brand desire and profitability in all channels: retail, wholesale, partnership, distributors and, digital accounts. Identifying and proposing new business opportunities, providing fact-based reports and, strategic proposals.

    The main responsibilities will be:

  • Contribute to drive business results through merchandising tools and processes
  • Contribute in creating a seasonal briefing document to share with Global Merchandising based on Sell in/ Sell Out results, revenue generating needs, and relevant trends for the EMEA market
  • Conduct Sell in and Sell out Analysis, by sharing and proposing actions that can have an impact on the business
  • Perform the necessary market analysis in order to identify market requirements and sales trends, to achieve the ideal apparel assortments by category, style, price ranges and competitive landscape.
  • Understand the different Distribution channels and their behavior within the EMEA region.
  • Support the implementation of the Merchandising strategies
  • Support all channels by sharing key strategic guidelines aligned with Global
  • Update all internal communication tools for markets and channels to guarantee alignment and best business execution
  • Build strong collaborations with key stakeholders within Timberland and VF EMEA.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in related field.

    Drive and support our transformation with the leading- and fastest growing European Digital Partners and Top Digital Key Accounts for Timberland. Focus of this newly created role will be on Zalando with the key objective to create and implement new ways of working to elevate our Merchandising aligned with the fast-paced digital business of Zalando.

    Fully responsible for creating a clearly defined consumer-minded 3yrs long-range plan and seasonal assortment strategies and implementation starting from merchandise financial planning, seasonal planning, forecasting and cross-functional go-to-market alignment to on-site execution and performance tracking and optimization.

    The Digital Marketplace Merchandising Manager will play a crucial role to further strengthen and develop our mutually beneficial and long-term partnership with Zalando as one of our key strategic partners for Timberland EMEA.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead and establish best-in-class digital Merchandising Buying and Planning process fully aligned with our overall brand strategy, purpose-led positioning and with the seasonal merchandising strategy in strong relationship with brand GTM calendar to ensure seamless execution and strong accelerated growth.
  • Full ownership to manage the performance of the defined assortment, working closely with assigned Merchandising and Key Account Management team to deliver on Merchandising and financial KPIs and profitability.

  • Driving pricing strategy constantly aligned with channel- and market trends, performance and specific trading events (end of season sales, mid-season sales, cyber week, etc.).

    GENERAL SUMMARY

    As User Experience Developer, you will proactively contribute to the improvement of customer experience on The North Face websites in EMEA. We are looking for a skilled programmer as well as a creative designer and on top of the latest industry and cultural trends.

    This role is part of the Customer Experience team, within the broader E-Commerce team at The North Face. It requires interpersonal and organizational skills, thinking out of the box, flexibility and being a strong team player.

    Your ultimate goal is enhancing the User Experience of the brand websites, increasing Conversion Rate and supporting achievements of E-Commerce business targets.

    PRIMARY ACCOUNTABILITIES

    * Work in collaboration with the Senior E-Commerce Customer Experience Manager and the UX & Web Analyst to ensure the definition and the execution of a UX strategy for the EMEA websites of The North Face

    * Ideate wireframes and sketch designs of new E-Commerce functionalities or content pages
