Let's talk about the role!  

As a member of the team, you will be involved in assisting one or more Product Developers in their everyday responsibilities. Providing a support role to help the Development team reach their deadlines and objectives, you will manage tasks set by the Sr Product Development Manager, which could range from one or more seasons and can include working on a variety of product from jersey tees to outerwear jackets.  

Primary accountabilities

* Assist the developers in building technical specifications in order to provide accurate information to factories for prototype. This can include: working on illustrator sketches, inputting accurate bill of materials and colour them, search fabric and trim information when necessary, creating/ amending size charts.

* Assist the developers to check construction, fit and evaluate samples and execute all amendments through sample evaluations in the Enovia system.

* Manage workload/ task to ensure timely completion.

* Up-date all relevant schedules to track style status.

* Manage any other projects set up by the line Manager.  

What do you need to succeed?

* Education: Educated with degree level in textile, manufacturing or engineering profession within the apparel industry.

* Experience: Previous internships/placements in a similar field.

* Language skills: Excellent understanding of the English language especially in manufacturing and technical terms.

* Strong verbal and written communication skills.

* Analytical skills: Very good knowledge in MS office software and Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.

* A willingness to embrace all aspects of product development and to be confident to bring their knowledge from their own studies/experience into this fast paced environment.

* Be curious and open to learn.

* Flexibility on working on different tasks.

* A passion for the outdoor is preferable.
