To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Quality Manager Carpets & Textiles (m/f/d) with focus on home textiles and carpets in our headquarter in Munich. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring and documenting the product quality of our own brands and will be the contact person for our purchasing department.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Monitoring the entire carpets & textile purchasing process in coordination with the purchasing department, external test laboratories, agents as well as suppliers worldwide and the QM team in our warehouse
  • Collaboration in quality assurance projects, especially in the context of product development (carpets and home textiles)
  • Driving force as a quality developer in the compliance with legal norms and the further development of our demanding, in-house quality standards
  • Active definition of specifications for materials used, equipment and processing characteristics and testing their feasibility
  • Documentation of test results, quality requirements and improvement measures
  • Monitoring of deadlines and project follow-up of external quality checks
  • Evaluation of test reports
  • Analysis of internal quality data and derivation/tracking of measures
  • You come with:

  • Successfully completed studies as a textile or clothing engineer, alternatively an apprenticeship in textile or clothing technology
  • Several years of professional experience in quality management in the field of carpets / home textiles desirable
  • Very good knowledge of the common MS-Office applications
  • Good written and spoken English language skills; German language skills are a plus
  • Communicative, friendly and confident appearance
  • Team-oriented way of working and thinking as well as a high level of commitment
  • Passion for carpets and home textiles
  • Experience in the Home & Living sector is a plus

  • Identify and implement concrete improvement initiatives in the field of eCommerce logistics and supply chain management
  • Support senior management with analyses to find, quantify, and prioritize cost savings ideas and customer experience improvements
