To pursue our ambitious growth strategy, we are looking for a Manager Operations Planning & Forecasting (m/f/d). In this position, you will buils up an operations planning & forecasting function from scratch centrally serving our warehouses across Europe.

Your responsibilities will be:

  • Build up an operations planning & forecasting function from scratch, centrally serving our warehouses across Europe
  • Develop, implement and manage volume planning processes, interfacing warehouse operations and multiple different business units; closely align short and medium-term forecast changes between business units and operations
  • Model volume forecasts and derive implications for inbound and outbound warehouse operations based on business performance; deep dive in performance metrics in order to continuously improve forecast accuracy
  • Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of business conditions as well as sales and marketing activities in order to proactively identify volume shifts early on
  • Initially build-up of the function as individual contributor; in a second step build-up of a team to scale the competence

You come with:

  • Entrepreneurial personality who has a lot of ideas, knows how to sell them and how to make them happen
  • 2-4 years of professional experience with proven track record in analytical roles at consulting, high growth, or blue chip companies
  • Very strong analytics with a quantitative background in engineering, science, economics or similar
  • Strong, proactive communication skills across all hierarchy levels
  • Drive for results, pragmatic can-do attitude, passion for making an impact
  • Fluency in English
