Wire is a European technology company developing a secure and privacy-focused communication platform. It combines various ways to communicate and collaborate and having fun doing it, such as high quality calls, video calls, file sharing, screen sharing, as well as fun features like sketch, GIFs and much more. 

Wire was founded by Alan Duric, Priidu Zilmer and Jonathan Christensen in 2012. The Swiss company has a development center in Berlin, Germany. The team comes from a wide range of backgrounds, united by shared passion for communication, design and technology.

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated, highly technical Senior Web Developer who loves programming with the latest technologies and enjoys building appealing web interfaces. You will be working with the Wire Web team, collaborating with UX/UI Designers and Backend Engineers in the development of new features on our web application. Your focus will be to further develop Wire for Web, keeping its lean design and high coding standards.

Responsibilities

  • Implementing functionality according to design specifications

    We are looking for a motivated, fast learning Software Test Developer with good programming, debugging and communication skills. You will join a dynamic team responsible for certifying the quality of our latest products. Your focus will be automating a large percentage of test cases for efficient testing. The successful candidate is someone who is passionate about quality improvements and is a good team player.

    We are a team of senior test engineers who like learning and sharing. We offer training to develop general testing skills, mobile/web testing, Jenkins, and scripting.
