Business Intelligence Analyst

Description

The Business Intelligence Analyst will be responsible for driving the business intelligence analytics and reporting strategy, fostering a data-driven culture and enabling the organization to make informed decisions. This role will work directly with Product Management, Engineering, Finance, and other teams to further develop and deliver valuable BI insights. The role will coordinate best practice activities across different functions while identifying key metrics for measuring impact and accountability of key initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Build reports, dashboards, models and tools to analyze and present operations related data that is associated with customer pipeline, product usage and business productivity
• Develop Business Intelligence, Data Warehousing and reporting solutions to address growing business reporting, analytics and data requirements
• Support engagement activities to analyze business environments, gather business requirements and create data visualizations in support of work product
• Monitor trends, provide accurate, insightful analysis, and deliver reports on quality performance metrics on a periodic basis (i.e. daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly updates, etc.), as well as those requested on an ad-hoc basis
• Interact with multiple teams to gather reporting and visualization requirements to create reports/dashboards for different teams, regions and process areas

Requirements

• 2+ years reporting and analytics experience
• Experience analyzing data and creating reports with database query (e.g. SQL), statistical and quantitative modeling
• Coding experience in Java and/or Python
• Track record of partnering with business and engineering to deliver data-driven insights and translating those into process improvement recommendations
• Deep understanding of metrics and KPIs and how to use them to guide a business
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, combined with strong business judgement and an ability to present analyses in a clear and compelling manner
• Attention to detail

Education

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent practical experience
