At Wooga, data is a key driver in making strategic decisions in Live Games. As Game Data Analyst you will analyze large-scale data across customer touch points in order to generate insightful metrics, custom dashboards and deep dive analyses to measure performance.

We're looking for a passionate and results-oriented talent to join our product team and develop new insights to shape data driven decisions, continuously improve our player’s experience and thereby help us to generate business growth for years to come. Some of your other responsibilities will include:

  • Dive deep into the large-scale data to identify key insights that will inform product improvements and business strategy.
  • Help define how best to measure and monitor our product and its features.
  • Develop an analysis strategy and perform analysis of complex scenarios and AB-tests, both systematically and on a one-off basis.
  • Engage with the product, engineering and service team members as a thought partner and provide an analytics perspective to discussions.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with key stakeholders across the company in order to successfully deliver actionable insights.
  • Partner with Data Science and Data Engineering on data gathering, data governance, democratizing data with reporting tools and evangelizing KPIs.
  • Carefully check, debug, and problem solve issues to ensure you deliver accurate and clear analysis and reports.
  • Translate business needs to technical requirements and AB-tests, then work with development teams to ensure correct implementation and tracking.
  • Communicate actionable results and findings derived from data throughout the organization in a clear, concise way.
  • Be the pro-active owner of the entire data chain for your product.
  • About you

  • You have a Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Computer Science, CIS/MIS, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or relevant field.
  • 1-2 years of recent experience in a business analyst role. Preferably experience in the app industry or related field.
  • You can use SQL effectively and you have a good understanding of commonly applied statistical techniques.
  • You have good problem solving skills and can look for logical connections between consumer behavior and data.
  • You have a good sense for the market, you are in tune with player patterns and understand customers.
  • You have strong monetization design understanding and you analytically understand what makes a game great!
  • You know your way around designing, communicating, visualising or reporting your results/analysis so they are clear and unambiguous.
  • You have excellent written and verbal skills in English. All of our internal communication at Wooga is in English. German skills are not required.

    Job purpose :

    Wooga is looking for a Facility Management Lead whose mission will be to ensure our physical environment connects with our greater company strategy. You will take ownership over operating our unique office located in the historic Backfabrik in Berlin-Mitte. You will lead a team of office managers and work closely with internal stakeholders and external service partners to ensure our space is vibrant, alive with potential, and most importantly, is the best environment possible to enable  our team to achieve great results.

    What you’ll be doing
  • Operational and strategic management of the Facilities Department, developing the operational departmental strategy as well as continuous improvement of operational processes
  • Professional leadership and development of the team for the office management team of 3 people
  • Operation of around 3.800 square metres of unique office space in the centre of Berlin (Mitte)
    Operation, maintenance (inspections / maintenance / repair) and development of facility equipment
  • Responsibility for compliance with safety and occupational safety measures; Preparation, implementation and documentation of instructions for compliance with safety and occupational safety measures
  • Coordination and supervision of external service providers as well as management of service contracts (including building maintenance, maintenance companies, cleaning, security, craftsmen, etc.).
  • You will report directly into our CFO and will have responsibility for Controlling Costs in the Facilities department and for identifying potential efficiencies.
  • Cost calculation of planned repair and maintenance and major investment measures
  • Who we are looking for
  • 5+ years professional experience in Facility Management including at least 3 years team leadership experience
  • You have a Bachelor of Science in Facility Management (or similar)
  • Excellent command of English and German
  • Solid presentation and negotiation skills
  • While you are able to strategically lead this area of the organization, you approach your work with a hands-on mentality  
  • Solid technical understanding of facility equipment

    As a 2D Character Artist at Wooga you will work closely with designers, engineers, product managers, producers, writers and other artists to create visually stunning, game characters for one of Wooga’s hit games!

  • Working closely with the team on creating art assets for the project, including characters, props, and other character related assets.
  • While working together with writers, you will visually illustrate a characters’ personality and history.

    Job purpose :

    This exciting internship position, which is part of our Young Talent program, is open to students currently enrolled in a university. As part of the program, you will join one of our game development studios and become a fully integrated team member. Here you will learn how we develop games and advance your skills through a combination of instructed training and hands-on experience. You will quickly be given your own projects where you will have the opportunity to contribute towards the improvements of our games. You will be able to bring in your own ideas and realize projects that will be played by millions of players all around the world.

    About you
  • Bachelor or masters students currently enrolled at a university in a Games Programming (highly preferred), Computer Science, or similar program  
  • You must be able to dedicate at least 6 months to the internship and must be enrolled as a student during this entire period
  • Previous experience working with Unity 3D and C#
  • Knowledge in any of the following a plus: mobile development, Objective-C, Actionscript, Ruby, OOP
  • Eager to code with an ability to learn fast and familiarize yourself with new subjects areas
  • Good product and design sense
