Job purpose :

The Game Marketing Teams at Wooga live, eat, sleep, and breath our games and players. We work with the game development teams to create deep experiences for our existing players, and constantly explore exciting, innovative ways to bring our products to new players around the world.

As a Senior Marketing Artist at Wooga you will be responsible for ensuring our Marketing Art and Assets are best in industry on our puzzle games. Working with our Producer and External Agencies you will ensure we have a consistent brand across games and publishing while driving for improved and measurable performance.

What you will be doing

  • Participate and help in brand development and vision 
  • Own the brand and creative guidelines that guide marketing asset creation 
  • Deliver key reference materials/work examples to others to use in creation of individual marketing assets (video, static, print & digital) 
  • Providing feedback and direction on resulting assets (may be insourced or outsourced) 
  • Create art that matches Game Team attention to detail and production value creating a consistent brand and style. 
  • Through an iterative approach deliver assets and marketing art that has a meaningful, measurable business results in our games across growth, retention and monetization. 
  • What you bring:

  • Proven experience within marketing design including graphic design and marketing art. 
  • Strong background in digital marketing asset design and direction (including video production) 
  • Agency experience a strong plus 
  • App/Game mobile UI/UX design experience a strong plus (portfolio desired) 
  • Masters + in Advertising Design a strong plus 
  • What skills you will be using:

  • Passionate for games including mobile F2P apps (casual games pref+) 
  • Proven ability to create and work with globally and regionally applicable brands, and to develop clear guidelines to communicate brand to stakeholders (portfolio required) 
  • Strong working knowledge of digital/mobile marketing pipelines and asset requirements 
  • Working knowledge of social-media and CRM design constraints and best-practices

    Imperative to the success of our games is a compelling brand that speaks to our audience achieved through a well-executed marketing strategy. As a member of the product marketing team, you will be trusted with ensuring our games have the greatest chance at success in today’s market. Working closely together with our game teams you will leverage marketing expertise across a number of channels to ensure we are delivering high quality and growing our game.

    What you will be doing:

  • Planning, tracking, and executing campaigns, assets, market testing and other programs  
  • You will work closely with Product Marketing Managers you will learn from them and partner to ensure the team has all information and tools they need and confirm contingency plans are in place.     
  • Establish cross-team communication tools and process (including with outsourcers)  
  • Serve as the primary customer care escalation point  
  • As a member of the team focus on growing and retaining our player base.  
  • What you bring:

  • You have a Bachelors in Economics or Marketing or similarly relevant degree or work experience  
  • You have proven marketing experience, including with digital marketing content production  
  • You have professional experience writing copy  
  • SaaS marketing support experience (esp. games/apps) is a strong plus

  • Project management skills, particularly in campaign design and execution  
  • Audience focus and to make sure our products reflect this. You must be able to drive audience research, insights, and empathy. You will need to not only understand what our demographic group is, but be able to understand and communicate to stakeholders a detailed analysis of their behaviour and psychological needs.  
  • Business analysis skills, including with spreadsheets and SQL. We would love to see examples of past analyses, especially around campaign performance and correlation to business KPI  
  • User-level knowledge of SaaS game/app economies -- professional experience a plus  
  • Working knowledge of Paid Performance advertising systems for new player acquisition and re-engagement

    About the internship

    This exciting internship position, which is part of our Young Talent program, is open to students currently enrolled in university. As part of the program, you will join one of our game development studios and become a fully integrated team member. Here you will learn how we develop games and advance your skills through a combination of instructed training and hands-on experience. You will quickly be given your own projects where you will have the opportunity to contribute towards the improvements of our games. You will be able to bring in your own ideas and realize projects that will be played by millions of players all around the world. You will work on the development of our newest games based on Unity for iOS and Android.

    Who we are looking for
  • Bachelor or masters students currently enrolled at a university in a Games Programming (highly preferred), Computer Science, or similar program  
  • You must be able to dedicate at least 6 months to the internship
  • Previous experience working with Unity 3D
  • Knowledge in any of the following a plus: mobile development, C#, Objective-C, Actionscript, Ruby, OOP
  • Extraordinary achievement in your studies
  • Strong affinity for social media, particularly social games

As a Social Media Manager at Wooga, you will be responsible for engaging our audiences by creating captivating social media content and inspiring email campaigns with the goal of establishing and growing positive, engaged, and loyal communities that transcend the confines of the game.


    What you will be doing

  • Actively engage with new and existing players across all relevant social media platforms (and sometimes IRL)
  • Collaborate with our in-house artists and designer, create compelling and engaging content for game events, game updates, competitions and more
  • Work closely with developers and other stakeholders to plan, design, and execute community marketing campaigns in coordination with game events/release schedule
  • Monitor competitors and benchmark activities against competitors and the gaming industry in general
  • Track, report, and analyze results to shape future initiatives

    We are currently working on an exciting new Puzzle Game with a deep, engaging and character driven brand in a lively world.

    As a Senior 2D artist at Wooga you will work with like minded people and an experienced teams  who continually push each other to learn new things while taking ownership of many aspects of their project  and further push the games into the realms of awesome . Duties in this position will include (but not limited to) board art, illustration, icons and characters and occasionally mentoring the associate artists.

    You would:
  • Create world class 2D Game Art and Illustrations from concept to final product.
