Will you be a part of our story?

As a Senior Financial Controller you will work across our whole business. You will be empowered to touch many areas of finance at Wooga, focusing on Financial Planning and Analysis.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Preparation of the Yearly Budget (top down and bottom up)
  • Development of a KPI controlling structure
  • Monthly and mid-monthly P&L forecasts, weekly revenue projections
  • Cash Flow/ Liquidity Management
  • Actual/Forecast vs Budget Analysis
  • Revenue/cost controlling on product level and cost centers and for significant cost items such as marketing cost, personnel cost
  • Reporting to parent company
  • Support in the preparation of US GAAP reporting package and German GAAP information
  • Preparation of special reports and participation in special projects
  • Collaboration with the Head of Accounting on topics where accounting and controlling overlap
  • About you

  • Excellent university degree in finance, accounting, controlling or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis/Controlling 
  • Experience in the Digital Games Industry, Free to play, Ecommerce, Performance Marketing, Digital B2C Businesses in a company between 250 and 500 employee strong
  • Excellent excel / spreadsheet skills and sound knowledge of analytical / BI-tools and techniques; coding and SQL abilities are a plus
  • Strong understanding of financial accounting and reporting processes (US GAAP/German GAAP)
  • Outstanding analytical capabilities and good business sense
  • High level of commitment and a structured way of working
  • Hands-on approach and strong execution skills

    As a Senior Producer, you will be joining one of our mobile game teams as an expert in agile development processes to guide your peers to execute on the vision of the game. 

    What will you be doing?
  • You will organize and drive the development process with an interdisciplinary team of engineers, artists, and game designers. 
  • You will drive the overall throughput and collaboration of team disciplines.
  • Apply agile and lean production approaches based on team and game context. 
  • Manage team capacity and skills-mix on a structured budget and results-driven development process.  
  • You will work closely with Product Managers on the roadmap and sprint scope, and own overall schedule and deliverables for the team, while understanding and executing around the bigger picture of your game as a commercial product.

  • About you
  • You have several years of experience working as a Producer and solid expertise within the games industry (free-to-play and mobile is a huge plus), and you understand the game development processes inside and out. 
  • You have already some people management experience and a proven track record in mentoring and developing more junior employees. 
  • You have built games-as-a-service, IAP-driven games on mobile platforms. 
  • You have created content-driven games, and have demonstrable experience working with various disciplines including art, writing, and game design.
  • Strong experience managing scope, cost, and risk around complex consumer software products.
  • A proven track record of delivering tasks within time and budget limits.
  • Experience in applying agile practices to game development. 
  • Strong understanding of the business models and customers of the free-to-play casual market.
  • Experience with external partners/outsourcing a plus.

    We are seeking a Lead Game Designer for our enormously successful Hidden Object Game, June’s Journey. Are you looking for your next challenge?     What will you do?
  • Lead the design efforts on a top grossing mobile game that has millions of delighted players.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, artists, and other team stakeholders to create and support exciting new features and live events.
  • Maintain a holistic view of all aspects of the game’s design, and constantly try to improve the HO scenes, economy, UI & UX, pacing & monetization, events, content pipelines, and more.

  • Do you like storytelling? Interface with writers and other disciplines to define and enhance the game’s epic narrative.
  • Work with analysts to study player behaviors and the game’s performance, then use that data to improve KPIs.
  • Remain current on the hidden object market and competitive titles.
  • Who are you?
  • Ideally, you have 8+ years of relevant mobile game and live-ops experience, with at least 4 years in a Lead role.
  • You have extensive experience with f2p design, best-practice live ops, agile development, and managing a large team of game designers with different areas of specialization.
  • As a mature team leader, organization is one of your top skills, you have a keen eye for details, and you understand the importance of setting goals and meeting deadlines. 
  • You are an excellent communicator (in English), and comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people. You can present your ideas in a clear and comprehensive way using spreadsheets, slideshows, and visual prototyping tools. 
  • You play mobile games and stay current on emerging game trends, new mechanics, and innovative monetization techniques.
  • You have strong analytical capabilities, so you seek out f2p KPIs and you know how to drive them. You possess a thorough understanding of game pacing, balancing, and game systems.

    We are looking for a Product Manager who will join us to be responsible for the growth of one of our upcoming Hidden Object games.

    Wooga has a long history in creating world-leading Hidden Object Games and we expect our upcoming title to make just as big an impact. Combining strong storytelling with high polish and tight mechanics it is a great opportunity to work on an exciting title.

    As a Product Manager, you will deliver on goals for the creation and growth of your assigned game. You will do that by channeling your strong product mindset to ensure you find a balance between delivering fantastic player experiences and maximizing revenue potential. You should be an excellent team player who knows how to positively influence cross-functional discipline teams  to implement features that will ultimately put our games above all competitors in the eye of our players.

     

    What you will be doing: 
  • Contribute to the game roadmap and map KPI improvements to initiatives.
  • Frame business and customer problems to educate the production team about the goals of your initiatives.
  • Partner with Lead Product Manager, Game Designers and Game Analysts to define virtual goods, pricing strategy and SKUs.
  • Push KPI growth through LiveOps events and monetization.
  • Own schedule, targets and overall success of in-game promotions, IAP merchandising, and in-game events.
  • Partner with Game Analysts on planning and executing A/B tests and rollout of tested features.
