Description

We are looking for an experienced Game Writer who can make sure that we create an engaging, punchy, comical and heartwarming story that emotionally engages our players for years to come. The challenge for you will be working as the main writer for an upcoming game in the Puzzle Studio managing the entire narrative direction. 


What you will be doing
  • Support the design and art teams in bringing the game and its story to life.
  • Write snappy and humorous dialogue, tailored for a casual mobile game audience.
  • Develop all aspects of the game’s plot, characters, storytelling strategies and narrative goals.   
  • Collaborate with game designers to meld narrative elements with good game design.  
  • Ensure that deliverables are completed in accordance within the production schedule and consistent with the design and game play goals.  
  • Work alongside the project leadership team to set priorities at each stage of development from production through release.
  • Set goals with the creative leadership in regards to high level story and cohesion of the narrative across all mediums including cinematics, mission dialogue and side content.
  • Champion an inspiring, creative and fun work environment.  
  • Collaborate with publishing teams to create exceptional go-to-market communications for the games.
What you bring
  • An experienced storyteller: you've racked up 5+ years of professional experience as a writer, or similarly gaming-focused creative type.
  • Ability to craft stories within the constraints of the free-to-play and puzzle genres
  • Ability to analyze the structures of different interactive narrative approaches is preferred
  • Enthusiasm for the process of receiving, sharing, and implementing feedback
  • Strong collaborative and communication skills
  • Can coordinate with off site writers, manage them, feedback, iterate on the story
  • English speaking at a Native level
  • Basic Unity experience is preferred
