Description
Our Puzzle Studio at Wooga is responsible for creating such hits as Diamond Dash, Jelly Splash, Futurama: Game of Drones, and Bubble Island 1 & 2. We are looking for a Lead Artist to take charge of the entire art direction of a new, in-development title. Joining a multi-discipline game team, you will personify excellent leadership and inspire your team and peers in the game studio whilst producing excellent artistic results that we are all proud of when our games are featured on the AppStore or Play Store. Some of your responsibilities include:
- Defining and maintaining the visual style and quality of the title with the game artists
- Visual realization of game concepts and ideas with the team
- Development of game artists’ skills
- Being hands-on in producing concept art, which will form the basis for the game's characters, environments, and theme
About you
- You are a creative person with a passion for puzzle games and strong visual thinking, as shown through an outstanding portfolio
- You have referential industry experience as an Art Lead or similar and experience leading teams
- You have a proven ability to deliver fresh visual solutions that are fun, technically sound, and on time
- You love to lead and care deeply about making the best culture and environment possible for your team
- You have a bachelor’s degree in graphic design and/or illustration, or comparable
- You are able to communicate and oversee the product marketing vision of your game
- You bring expertise in a range of creative software and ideally also with Unity
