Senior Technical Artist, Unity Mobile Games

Description

We are looking to hire an experienced Technical Artist who can join us at our offices in Berlin.  You will contribute not only to one of our upcoming exciting games but also to Wooga overall in pipelines and process.  

• With a solid background in art, you will support artists by creating and managing art content pipelines for multiple authoring packages (Maya, Max, Modo, Photoshop)
• Further to this you will assist both artists and engineers implementing game assets within Unity
• Contribute to process and pipelines within game teams by pinpointing areas of improvement
• Create an environment where knowledge and tools can be shared across multiple games teams
• Devise tools, techniques and workflows that allow the art team and outsourcing partners to deliver amazing visual quality, quickly and easily

• Solid background in creating 3D Games in a professional environment
• You have seen all phases of game development and know where and how you can contribute to them
• Experience with pipeline creation, documentation and maintenance for 3D and 2D art processes
• Rigging and Skinning (Maya)
• Experience in Tools programming/scripting for Maya and preferably at least one other major authoring package ( e.g Max, Modo, Blender, Photoshop)
• Experience with Unity
• Understanding of optimization for mobile platforms
• Solution oriented and be able to quickly understand and effectively communicate the most efficient possible direction for a given tech-art problem
• Solid understanding of shaders and real-time rendering techniques

• Contribute to an exciting new mobile games that have the potential to be played by millions of players
• Be able to bring your own ideas and content creation pipelines  to multiple projects
• Take part in a growing and international environment
