As our dedicated Visual Effects Artist you will design, create and implement dynamic, stunning and above all broadly appealing visual effects for both our existing and upcoming casual games. You will work directly with some of the world’s top talent in Art, Design and engineering to create compelling effects that help enrich our millions of players’ game experience.
About the job
- Push the boundaries of visual effects on mobile technology
- Work with the Art Directors to raise the bar of Visual Effects across the company
- Work with technical artists and engineers to build up and maintain an effects library to speed up both pre production and production of upcoming games and contribute to the improvement of our existing titles.
- Maintain the consistency of the existing style, constantly optimize it, and create new ways of making it more exciting.
Who we are looking for
- A highly creative person with an excellent eye for motion, compositing, and animation, who can conceptualize, stylize, design, and create in game visual effects by using tools like particle systems, 3d modeling and texturing.
- A team player who loves to work with game designers and engineers to get the most exhilarating effects possible within the budget of the games engine.
- Knowledge of designing effects for mobile platforms is required.
- Experience with shaders in a package like Unity or Hlsl experience is a plus.
- A Strong portfolio that demonstrates a broad range.
- Experience in a small team is preferred.
- Working knowledge of Maya and/or other commercial 3D authoring packages.
- Background in 2d (fx) animation is a big plus
