Director, Customer Analytics

Description

Funding Circle’s Customer Analytics group is looking for an experienced Director to work on high impact projects with a small and dynamic team.  This group has a global footprint that is responsible for supporting Funding Circle businesses across geographies with analytical inputs across variety of risk and business functional areas.

Bird’s-eye view of the role:

• Risk reward optimization: optimization & enhancement of risk reward approach to pricing
• NPV Modeling: own & manage the global valuations models
• Business & Product Insights: Recommend optimal business strategies based on historical performance, predictive analytics and scenario analysis
• Investor facing analytics:  Portfolio performance expectations and actual performance reporting to institutional investors
• Building global frameworks that are scalable across markets and help to drive business outcomes & portfolio performance
• Working closely with partner teams across business and risk to ensure analytical outputs meet stakeholder expectations
• Communicate effectively analytical outcomes to wide variety of internal and external constituents
• Up to 20% travel

Our ideal teammate has:

• Strong analytical skills with a degree in a quantitative field like BS/MS statistics, econometrics or MBA
• 10+ years experience in an analytics role in a financial services organization with demonstrated expertise in risk and/or marketing analytics
• 3+ years of demonstrated people management experience & building high performing teams
• Strong knowledge of drivers of credit performance of portfolio and/or marketing performance optimization
• Strong inter personal services and ability to communicate effectively to technical and non technical audiences
• Prior experience in a global function and small business credit /marketing experience is preferred but not a must
• Machine learning experience along with proficiency in analytical tools like Excel VBA, Tableau, R or SAS, Python is preferred
