To expand our development team we are looking for a young, capable Frontend Engineer (m/f), to design & build challenging e-commerce solutions with us. We use different open-source and commercial technologies (akeneo, Magento, Shopware). As a Frontend Engineer you are up to date on current web technologies, you have a basic understanding of frontend frameworks and a conscious for great user experience. Developing complex interfaces by yourself is no problem for you, and you have a creative mindset and sense of beauty.

Your primary duties are:

• Development of complex responsive frontends with modern web technology 
• Plan and develop complex e-commerce frontends based on default products and their frameworks 
• Defining styleguides, drawing wireframes, prototyping and elaboration of information architecture 
• Maintenance of existing solutions and bug fixing on running systems 

Your qualification:

• Trained in information technology or digital design 
• You have a basic understanding of user experience and the technical skills to make it happen 
• You have 3 or more years of experience in frontend engineering 
• You master all basic modern frontend technologies (HTML 5 / CSS 3 / jQuery / angularJS) and have experience with frontend frameworks 
• You are used to work in a team with a state-of-the-art toolset 
• You put the demands of our customers first and take responsibility for your work 
• You are a team player and fluent in either German or English
