About the Role:

Babbel is looking for a paid content intern in our New York office.

If you’re interested in writing about the impact language learning can have on culture, wellness, and human connection, this internship is for you. Our ideal candidate loves having his or her work consumed by a large audience and know how to create content that finds readers. He or she will also be comfortable with with many content forms, from text to pictures, gifs, listicles, quizzes and more.

Working closely with the Executive Producer, Content for the US and other members of the content and marketing teams, this Content Fellow will spend their time contributing to the team in meaningful ways, including:

• brainstorming and producing new content for the Babbel Magazine
• repurposing existing content in engaging new formats
• crafting copy to meet our editorial and brand objectives

This is an opportunity to experience what it’s like to be a part of a fast-moving, successful global technology company with a dedicated in-house content team.

We're looking for the following:

• Excellent writing and copyediting skills
• Experience or strong interest in social media
• A strong interest in languages
• Photoshop skills
• Bonus: Previous experience in content marketing or writing for an online publication

The fellowship lasts for six months, though we would consider three months for the right candidate.
