We are looking for a Head of Offline Marketing to join our Team in Berlin!


Your mission as a Head of Offline Marketing is to grow Babbel’s impact in the world of Offline through TV (main focus) and by further developing other offline channels. A team of channel experts is waiting for you!


You are:


  • A strong communicator who can express his/her thoughts well in English
  • A fan of numbers and able to analyze, interpret and make data-based decisions
  • Willing to tackle any problem that is thrown at you with an open mind
  • Always thinking proactively about how to improve status-quo

You will:


  • lead an international and diverse team of 5 Offline Marketing managers
  • be responsible for further developing and implementing Babbel’s Offline Marketing Strategy on a global scale, in line with our Commercial and User Acquisition Strategy
  • own the experimentation for other offline channels (e.g. OOH, Radio, Print etc.)
  • ensure channel-specific goals are met together with Paid digital, International Growth & Brand team and champion the role of Offline Marketing in contributing to the company’s future growth
  • oversee and support the team’s main focus areas (such as budgeting, forecasting, negotiation, campaign management, attribution, reporting)
  • act as the main spokesperson for the team, reporting on performance and communicating effectively on tests/campaigns/updates related to the channel
  • collaborate with company-wide stakeholders such as International Growth, Brand, Analytics etc.

You have:


  • several years of experience in managing direct response TV marketing for a brand (previous experience with a subscription-based business model is a plus), both from an operational and a strategic perspective
  • strong familiarity with the world of Offline Marketing besides TV, e.g. OOH, Print, Radio etc.
  • 3+ years of experience in leading a team, including hiring, developing and motivating employees
  • strong analytical skills and understanding of KPI’s like CPL, CPA, CPM, ROI
  • capability to connect short-term with long-term response metrics
  • a strategic mentality, high grade of motivation and the constant willingness to learn
  • full fluency in spoken and written English. Language learning passion is a (very desirable!) plus
