We are looking for an Internal Communications Lead for our office in Berlin!

You will lead the Internal Communication (IC) and Knowledge Management (KM) teams at Babbel, owning and driving the strategic development of both units, reporting to the Director of Communications.

You will

• Own all internal communication channels, supervise content creation and co-own the tools (Confluence, Slack, e-mail newsletter, all-hands meetings and more)
• Own, maintain and advance our formats for knowledge-sharing and omnidirectional internal communication with regard to effectiveness, efficiency and style
• Maintain and shape Babbel’s learning culture by pooling the IC/KM team’s strengths and through suitable initiatives
• Ensure that internal messages are clear, relevant, inspiring and true
• Provide strategic communicative advice to everyone in the company including senior management (escorting change processes, supporting cross-functional communication, guiding leadership communication)
• Own the performance of the IC/KM team and the personal development of its members

You have

• Proven experience in an internal communications role and in management
• Excellent interpersonal and communicative skills, strong leadership, strategic thinking and organizational talent
• The drive and courage to make bold decisions; a humble listening and learner attitude at the same time
• Business acumen and ability to think outside the box
• The ability to work independently with a high sense of responsibility, ownership and commitment
