About the Role:


You will be part of Babbel’s performance marketing team, driving the launch of new channels and helping drive profitable customer growth in channels like TV, Radio, and Digital. We are looking for a performance marketer with experience in acquisition marketing and a background in some or all of the following areas: account management at marketing agencies, project management, and TV marketing. We are a highly data-driven organization and team, therefore an affinity to numbers and strong analytical skills are required, along with expertise in Excel.


Babbel is at an inflection point in its growth in the US and in this role you will help accelerate our efforts across multiple marketing channels and partnerships.


Working closely with Sr. Vice President Marketing and Vice President Offline Marketing, you will work on a wide array of topics to continue driving growth for Babbel. Some of these may include helping in the launch of new markets, and accelerating Offline Marketing’s rapid growth through data analysis and optimization of media buy and creative.


If a conversation about A/B testing, driving revenue through-put, optimizing marketing conversion funnels or finding correlations between demographics and conversion rates gets you revved up, if pivot tables and formulas get you motivated, you’ll do great at Babbel.


Specific Duties Include:


  • Develop and deploy marketing campaigns for new product launches
  • Analyze, iterate and optimize campaigns to improve KPIs
  • Assist SVP and VP marketing on new launching new target markets
  • Work closely with agency and marketing partners to increase market share in new customer segments
  • Benchmark competitors and best practice marketing campaigns in order to identify new marketing opportunities
  • Analyze media buys and results of our offline channels in order to tap into the plethora of opportunities for improvement

Key Job Requirements Are:


  • At least 3+years’ track record in performance acquisition marketing driving profitable customer growth  
  • Experience in B2C tech company, experience in a subscription-based services company will be ideal, start-up experience will come in quite handy
  • Strong analytical skills and experience with analyzing large volumes of data
  • Multilingualism is a plus; strong interest in language is a requirement
