We are looking for a freelance Visual Designer for our Team in Berlin!

Babbel's Creative Services Team is seeking a kick-ass Visual Designer (freelancer) to be part of our in-house creative agency for 6-8 months. Your role will be to collaborate with the Art Director and team lead and other designers to concept and deliver creative, across multiple touch points with a focus on performance-based marketing channels (such as Social Media, CRM, Display/SEM). You will also be responsible for pushing the creative guidelines, being a brand guardian, and take ownership of the creative developed across marketing and with other internal stakeholders.  

You are:

• A creative and passionate designer, who loves to develop cool concepts but understands business and marketing values.
• An inspiring self-starter who loves to collaborate and is open to feedback and ideas.
• A creative mind, who loves to work in an environment that is energetic and pragmatic, but can present the ideas, thought process in a structured manner

You have:

• Multiple years work experience in related field of brand and marketing as a designer, backed by a strong portfolio of work that demonstrates your arsenal.
• Great people skills.
• Strong experience in performance channels (particularly Social, CRM).
• A killer eye and attention to detail.
• An excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
• A get things done, with a go-getter attitude and a hands-on mentality.
• A top-notch knowledge and hands-on experience with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch.

Nice to have:

• Experience in UI/UX design.
• HTML/CSS skills

You will:

• Design creative marketing solutions for brand and performance channels.
• Consistently deliver and improve creatives across all channels (Social, CRM, Display/SEM etc).
• Have the ownership of the marketing creative with the channel managers.
• Be a brand guardian and ensuring visual and tonal consistency.
• Aligning with the creative values set by the Team Lead, Art Director and Production Manager.
• Collaborate with a team of designers in order to achieve planned results.
• Identify problems and providing creative solutions and options
