Siamo Bending Spoons

La storia di Bending Spoons inizia nel 2013, a Copenaghen, in Danimarca, come una collaborazione tra cinque giovani amici con una vasta esperienza in business, tecnologia e design. La nostra visione comune era quella di creare una leggendaria società tech, quella che costruisce prodotti utilizzati e amati da milioni di persone in tutto il mondo, ed è riconosciuta come tra i migliori luoghi di lavoro in tutto il pianeta. Eravamo pronti a piegare i cucchiai con la nostra mente, se era quello che serviva per farlo accadere.

Abbiamo amato l'opportunità che abbiamo visto nello sviluppo di applicazioni mobile: il ritmo di crescita del mercato, il business difficile e i problemi tecnologici che favoriscono quei pochi che sono abbastanza intelligenti per risolverli, l'infinita varietà dei casi d'uso e lo stretto rapporto dei consumatori con i loro telefoni. Attraverso un enorme e incredibilmente duro lavoro, intelligenza e creatività, abbiamo creato alcune applicazioni molto popolari. In un mercato in cui la maggior parte delle persone ha avuto un approccio dilettantesco, abbiamo creduto nella scelta di essere ultra-strutturati, tecnologicamente avanzati e analitici.

Nel 2014 Bending Spoons si trasferisce a Milano, cercando di costruire un tech team di grandissimo talento, con ottime possibilità di ottenere un successo esponenziale e sostenibile. Durante il 2015 siamo cresciuti di circa 20 Spooners, abbiamo creato alcune tecnologie davvero sorprendenti, lanciato nuovi prodotti, e migliorato radicalmente quelli esistenti. Guardando al futuro, stiamo lavorando furiosamente ad alcune incredibili e innovative idee che riteniamo possano essere utili per aumentare il drasticamente il nostro gioco.

A few examples of your responsibilities:


  • Manage our whole advertising budget by running app-install campaigns on Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads, Google Adwords, Apple Search Ads, and more.
  • Write engaging copy and leverage our network of translators to reach users everywhere around the world.
  • Research ideas for new, catchy visual communication and accordingly oversee our designers in the creation of new videos and images to maximize impression-to-download conversion.
  • Contribute to our marketing research efforts aimed at deepening our expertise and competitive advantage.
  • Analyze marketing data looking for actionable insights to use in your own advertising or to pass on to the product teams.
  • Continuously monitor our apps’ performance on the app stores as well as the performance of our app-install campaigns and tirelessly test, optimize, test, optimize, test, optimize.

    Location

    Milan, Corso Como 15. It’s fine if you prefer to work remotely sometimes. We offer substantial support for relocation, including finding an apartment in Milan and paying the rent for twelve weeks.

    Software Engineer, Mobile

With bigger and bigger frontiers to conquer, we’re looking for passionate, bright, and driven software engineers that are eager to bring our apps to the next level.


    A few examples of your responsibilities:

  • Participate in and contribute to product development and product roadmap planning. We commend taking a proactive role on and ownership of the products you work on.
  • Help define the software architecture of new apps or that of new features for existing apps, and then develop them. The work spans broadly from engineering and coding features to polishing world-class user interfaces.
  • Constantly improve the quality of our products by fixing bugs and refactoring the code base where necessary.
  • Expand our set of libraries as needed to make yourself as well as other engineers more efficient and effective.
