BlaBlaCar is launching a new business line that is set to fuel tremendous growth for the company.

As local Operations Manager, you will have the unique opportunity to contribute to building a new vertical at BlaBlaCar. We are looking for someone who has the grit and motivation to join the entrepreneurial adventure.

Your mission is to manage and coordinate bus operations focused on the german market. In this role you will grow your skills in operations excellence, crisis management, communication and team management.  You will manage external stakeholders, especially local authorities and you will be able to handle complex situations on the ground. You will report to the head of bus operations and supply and have close interactions with our local team (Business development manager - Bus partners … ) and central team.

As such, the role requires a strong commitment, humility, organisation and inter-personal skills.

What you will directly contribute to

• Management and coordination of bus operations : managing bus stops, quality and security process, presence in hubs.

• Work closely with our bus partners to ensure a high-level travel experience

• Be the point of contact for our bus partners regarding the operational business

• Support them in all relevant matters, and train the drivers in conduct, communication and our brand image

• Manage a team of bus operation specialists

• Ensure and optimize the quality standards of the operations at our bus stations and of our lines operations

• Ability to manage complexity on the ground

• Ability to manage relationships with external stakeholders, especially local authorities

• Support bus partners' sourcing efforts
