Why Join Us?

BlaBlaLines is the short distance carpooling service by BlaBlaCar. It is actively being developed and tested in three regions of France.

You will join a small team of engineers operating in true agile style at an early stage in the project. The current project goal is to iterate quickly and take over the short-distance carpooling market.

Our team is composed of experienced people that have worked on successful services before. The job provides a lot of opportunities to learn.

What you will contribute to:

• Work closely with the Product lead, UX lead, iOS Engineer, Android engineer, Software engineer and Data scientist to build the best and smoothest experience for our users;

• Build the iOS app;

• Share your knowledge of iOS guidelines and best practices with the UX lead;

• Build a very smart and battery efficient geo-tracking (foreground and background) app;

• Work with our RESTful API and Web Socket infrastructure to dispatch and receive new geolocation events in real-time.
