What you will directly contribute to:

Your mission will be helping launch new products and business lines in Brazil (and LatAm), such as BlaBlaBus (integration of carpooling with buses), BlaBlaLines (our daily commute carpooling app), BlaBlaSure (our car insurance offer) and others that may come. This includes:

• Doing all necessary research and analyzes in order to understand if, when, where and how we should launch new products/business lines in Brazil or LatAm (greenlight)

• Launching new products/business lines: work in partnership with global Product, Engineering, Marketing, Finance, Government Relations and M&A teams in order to make it happen

• Potentially taking ownership of one of the products/business lines and make it grow

In addition, depending on timing/roadmap, you may work on processes of the core product (BlaBlaCar) such as pricing, market research, competition analysis and data analyzes for the press and other public stakeholders.

Qualifications

What you will need to be successful:

• Background

  • At least 4 years of experience with business analysis, business development, management consulting, project management or online marketing - preferably at startups

  • Experience in launching new products, businesses or geographies and in managing teams highly preferred

  • Experience working in organizations with localcentral team setup and in managing internal and external stakeholders are a plus

  • Preferably Engineering, Economics, Business Administration or similar bachelor degree

  • At least 6 months of academic or professional international experience

• Hard skills

  • Acute business sense

  • Ability to work with data to define priorities, actionable insights, and present results - very good Excel skills mandatory

  • Ability to structure solutions for complex problems

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communication

  • Fluent English, Spanish a big plus

• Soft skills

  • Ability to work in ambiguous situations and across organizational boundaries to create a path forward - bias for action

  • Ability to work autonomously and ask for help when needed

  • Initiative to start work streams on her own and deliver results

  • Belief in the value of participating in, and contributing to a collaborative team environment

  • Resilience and grit: get things done despite obstacles; ability to learn and bounce back from failure
