We are looking for a performance marketer with a keen interest in search and digital marketing as well as language learning. You will be joining a fast growing startup and a great marketing team to enhance your acquisition skills!


In terms of background, you have worked on paid search (PPC) before, ideally for an ecommerce or mobile focused business. You are obsessed with Excel and know the latest tricks of how to analyse complex data, you love problem solving and thinking outside of the box. You won’t rest until you have achieved your revenue and ROI target.

What does a Junior Digital Acquisition Manager do at busuu


  • Run our global acquisition via Google, Bing and Yandex
  • Explore and test new areas of acquisition activity (Display, Retargeting, Apple Search Ads)
  • Work on both web conversion and mobile install campaigns across multiple countries
  • Bidding, ad copy creation and testing, landing page testing, beta testing
  • Keyword analysis and optimisation
  • Campaign reporting and optimisation for target ROI
  • Manage and optimise Prospecting and Retargeting activity outside of PPC
  • Test and expand our partner portfolio with programmatic, video, and other activity

What we are looking for from a Junior Digital Acquisition Manager at busuu


  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • You are enthusiastic about numbers and optimising for them
  • Passionate for all things digital marketing
  • Worked on paid search (PPC) campaigns before
  • Bing/Yandex/Baidu experience would be a plus
  • Experience in managing cross-market activity is not essential, but would be beneficial
  • Passion for marketing, test & learn approach
  • Good operating knowledge of Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Google Docs and worked with tools like Slack, Jira or Confluence, expert in Adwords and Google Analytics
  • Team player and someone who enjoys working with other people
  • Digital native, mobile apps are your world
  • Fluent in English and proficient in at least one other language
