Your Role:- Define and ensure quality standards for existing and new software on all of our platforms (web, mobile, backend)
- Testing applications manually and with the help from automated scripts in order to ensure the quality of the products we build
- Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured documentation e.g. Test Plan, Test Suites, Test Descriptions and Bug Reports
- Perform cross-platform testing based on created test suites
- Design, develop and execute automation scripts
- Identify, record, document thoroughly and track bugs
- Work in a fully functional SCRUM team
- Provide assistance to Product Owner for deriving acceptance criteria of user stories
- Maintain, extend and migrate our existing suite of functional and integration tests and help improving our CI tools (Travis CI and Jenkins)
Your Profile:
- University degree in Computer science, Engineering or related subject is a plus but not a must
- profound working experience in software development or as software quality assurance/test engineer
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools
- Basic knowledge of SQL and scripting
- Experience working in an Agile development process
- Experience with performance and/or security testing is a plus
- Attentive to details and adept at spotting and pointing out issues and inconsistencies
- Able to dig fast into new topics and technologies
- Fluent in written and spoken English
