As Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for timely and accurate processing, and overall management, of the sales and purchase ledgers; cash flow and some elements of the month end reporting process. Reporting to the Finance Manager, the role will offer the opportunity to learn and take on increasing responsibility as you grow and develop experience in the position and the company.
Responsibilities
  • Supplier and Client Set Up/Maintenance 
  • Supplier invoice coding and entry 
  • Maintaining relationships with suppliers and responding to queries 
  • Preparation of payment runs using online banking system 
  • Expense report and corporate credit card process management
  • Raising, finalising, distributing, and tracking client Invoices in company Billing System 
  • Credit control including monitoring debtor receipts and collections 
  • Bank statement reconciliations
  • Journal entries and reconciliations for balance sheet accounts
  • Various ad-hoc duties as required

  • Motivated and proactive
  • Previous experience in a finance role
  • Strong communications skills both written and spoken 
  • Accounting Qualification - AAT, CAT or fundamentals level of ACCA / CIMA
