As a Pricing and Yield Management Teamlead, you will develop effective yield and pricing strategies to maximize revenue growth in the US market. This role reports to the Pricing and Yield Director at the headquarters, in Germany.

• You perform quantitative analysis of consumer booking behavior, historic booking demand and other relevant data to identify risks and opportunities within the competitive environment of the assigned geographical region
• You develop a deep understanding of the factors that drive the marketplace and react proactively to predictable changes to insure adequate yield
• You generate standard or custom reports containing relevant data and conduct ad hoc analysis to support recommendations for actions and improve Flixbus' market performance
• You build and lead the Pricing and Yield Team to support you and your mission through clear objectives
• You work together with the US office and the global Pricing & Yield team in Europe to determine optimal pricing across the network
• You perform other exciting duties related to setting up the FlixBus business in the US as assigned • Your Degree: You have a Bachelor or Master degree in Economics, Mathematics, Finance, Business Informatics or in a related quantitative discipline from a Top University
• Your relevant experience: You have 3-5 years of experience in pricing and yield management, preferably in Transportation or a similar industry or any combination of equivalent experience. Management experience in a team-oriented workplace is preferred
• You are comfortable in a startup environment: entrepreneurial spirit, full of ambition, roll with the punches attitude, you leave nothing on the table and get your hands dirty!
• You are pragmatic: you are focused on developing concrete solutions to fix root-cause problems and/or foresee them before they even happen.
• You are highly analytical and have excellent quantitative skills: you demonstrate high analytical skills, love data and have outstanding Excel skills to understand and build complex pricing models.
• You are an effective and adaptable communicator: you ask effective questions and have great listening skills to engage with key external stakeholders and communicate openly and respectfully with the Flixbus team
• You are proficient with MS office and software programs used in conducting quantitative analysis
• It is a plus if you speak any European Language, especially German
