We're bringing good food into your everyday – but that means more than just bringing you your favourite meals from local restaurants. It means we hit the streets to find the next must-try spot and we chat with the locals to stay ahead of the latest in food. We sit down with chefs, dreaming up menus that will arrive at your door fresh and full of flavour.


You can find our signature pink bikes in 21 countries, enabling our customers to order their favourite food through our app (for iOS or Android) or web portal. We’re connecting foodies and restaurants from Helsinki to Sydney and together with our riders'​ energy and our amazing partner restaurants, we're redefining delivery food to include the very best meals from beloved local restaurants.


We are currently looking for a Head of Marketing for Germany & Austria (m/f) within our Berlin HQ!


Responsibilities:



How can we accelerate our growth? Which projects can really make a difference? Translating the global marketing strategy successfully, starts with a local touch.  All your projects will have direct impact on the growth of foodora. By looking at data, market analysis, experiences of other countries, you will identify the biggest growth opportunities, create a strategic plan and execute with your team.


As the Head of Marketing for Germany & Austria:


  • You use data analysis to set the focus areas, priorities and plans that contribute to the marketing growth strategy
  • You manage numerous marketing projects and execute the growth plans to their maximum potential
  • You experiment with new growth channels & campaigns
  • You localize and optimize the global marketing campaigns to ensure high performance

You manage six direct reports:


  • Four Regional Marketing Managers ( + 1 intern)
  • One Senior Corporate Communications Manager
  • One Senior PR & Influencer Marketing Manager (+ 1 intern)

Requirements:



  • 2+ years of experience in product marketing, consumer marketing, business intelligence, business development, and/or consulting experience in a rapidly changing environment
  • You take a highly analytical approach to everything you do and know how to pick the most impactful measurement variables.  
  • You have extensive knowledge of offline marketing channels and executing successful offline marketing campaigns
  • You have experience making data-driven marketing decisions using surveys, focus groups, A/B testing, and other analytical tools.
  • Strong communication skills - native German fluent English
  • Experienced in leading a team or having the ambition to lead a team
