We are currently looking for a Photo Editing Intern for our HQ in Berlin!
Foodora is looking for an entry-level, self-motivated candidate who is interested in joining our rapidly-growing company. As a Photo Editing Intern, you will play a key role in supporting our in-house photo editors and assist them with various tasks. It’s a fast-paced environment that requires you to think on your feet and use your professionalism when communicating verbally and in writing.
Responsibilities:
- Perform simple cropping, resizing, colour correcting, and balancing actions to large volumes of photos every day using Adobe Lightroom.
- Upload images to the website while following standardized file naming, tagging, and saving procedures.
- Assist in the photo studio as needed while having the opportunity for hands-on experience with products.
- Correct image flaws (cropping, compositing, retouching) using Adobe Photoshop.
- Ensure image batches are web-ready.
Requirements:
- Creative eye with a passion for visual communication.
- Good time management skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Experience with Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom, in particular, colour correction, resizing, and retouching.
- An eye for detail and an understanding of the editorial components that make up suitable images for use in a commercial environment.
- Fluent in English.
- Valid work permit in Germany.
