Service Communications Manager

We are looking for a Service Communications Manager to join our fun, fast-paced Communications & Policy team. This person will drive communications and content across a wide range of channels to build customer understanding - both small businesses and investors - of our products and policies. We are looking for someone with a can-do attitude who has thirst for knowledge and an eagle eye for minute details. If you’re a fast learner, great copywriter and team player, keep reading! 

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• Drive UK service communications strategy for product announcements and policy updates, including  messaging for customer-facing teams (Sales & Service, Collections and Recoveries) 
• Create regular content including blogs, borrower and investor newsletters, email, videos and social posts, liaising with brand and marketing teams  
• Become a business partner to customer-facing teams, working with team leads to support day-to-day customer communications, developing reactive lines and scripts on an ad-hoc basis 
• Work closely with UK Managing Director and executive team
• And more… no one day is the same!

Required Skills & Experience:

• A minimum 4/5 years’ experience - ideally within a high-growth company or agency
• Experience of developing and writing communication strategies with strong attention to detail
• Great copywriter, able to adapt your writing style for different audiences and channels
• Can work quickly and under pressure to produce accurate and appropriate messaging on-demand
• Ability to build trust with internal stakeholders and strong people management skills  
• Is comfortable with matrix working - with a direct reporting line to the communications team and dotted lines to customer-facing teams 
• Intellectual curiosity to keep learning about our business environment
• The discipline to push back and focus without being caught in the day to day of a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment
• Bachelor's degree with a strong academic record, or equivalent experience
