Quando i fondatori Adi e Alon dovevano ristrutturare la loro casa, hanno cominciato come spesso iniziano questi progetti: con un'alta pila di riviste, indirizzi e appunti su professionisti e case e con consigli di persone affidabili. Quando da quei mucchi di pagine non è emerso nulla di interessante in grado di trasformare il loro sogno in realtà si sono sentiti bloccati. Ci doveva essere un modo migliore. About the RoleWe are looking for a dynamic, smart, creative, sales leader with a proven track record of top sales and management performance. You must be hands-on sales leader who rolls up your sleeves every day, showing them how it is done. You’ll lead a team of about 10-15 outbound telephone Sales Development Representatives for our Irvine sales office.  Your team will schedule calls and product demonstrations between Houzz professionals and Account Executives across the U.S and Canada. You’ll have the chance to hire and build your sales team in addition to leading some from our current team, working in a fun, innovative, world class, high-performance work environment.
What You’ll Do

  • Actively coach and counsel your team on a weekly basis
  • Listen in on and participate in calls and provide post call coaching
  • Conduct weekly one-on-ones to review activity and performance
  • Prepare and lead team meetings
  • Ensure a high performing, energized, Sales Development team that proudly represents the Houzz brand
  • Exemplify strong Houzz “can do” attitude to ensure a positive and professional work environment
  • Perform additional leadership duties as requested or required 


  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have:

  • 2+ years of prior sales management experience of a top-performing sales team
  • Solid knowledge of SEO, SEM, and other online advertising options
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with hiring, training, coaching, counseling, and performance-management
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, having sold and taught a consultative, yet deliberate sales approach
  • Strong platform training and one-on-one coaching skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced work environment with the ability to adapt quickly to new processes 
  • Excellent references from sales reps that have served under you, and senior leaders you have reported to. 
  • Previous use of CRM tools, i.e. Salesforce.com
  • Fluid with Excel/MS Office or Google Docs



  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have

  • 2+ years of top personal sales experience in advertising preferred
  • Current leadership experience
  • Sales training background
  • Telephone Sales experience

    Our Ivy Account Executives Make Things Happen Houzz has acquired Ivy, a startup that has built a business management tool and engaged community for interior designers and other home design companies. Ivy’s platform enables interior designers to run their entire business - sourcing products, creating estimates, sending invoices, time billing, vendor purchases, and more.     What You’ll Do

  • Prospect and qualify new business partners (think Architects, Interior Designers, Builders, etc) across ANZ through high volume outbound calls (+60 calls/day).
  • Assess business needs of small to medium sized businesses and advise them on how to effectively market their business on Houzz.com by demonstrating the value of Pro+Management of the full sales cycle; from preparing proposals, securing new business partnerships to setting up professionals on Pro+ before handing them off to Account Managers.
  • Working with a close knit and well established international sales team, you will be provided with design, architecture & construction leads. These will range from highly engaged professionals with a built out presence on Houzz to newly signed up accounts with little knowledge of the platform and all it has to offer.
  • Opportunity to attend and participate in industry trade shows.
  • Opportunity to provide mentorship to new joiners or Associate Account Executives.
  • Support Hiring Managers in recruiting new team members.

  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

  • At least 3+ years of prior B2B inside sales experience.
  • Outbound cold-calling experience.
  • Proven track record of success in a New Business role, comfortable working with higher revenue targets and dealing with rejections.
  • Excellent negotiation & presentation skills.
  • Understanding of or experience in selling solutions (i.e. advertising, financial services, business services...)
