What You’ll Do

  • Prospect new business partners (we provide leads!) across the U.S. and Canada through high volume outbound calls
  • Assess business needs of small to medium sized businesses
  • Consult with professionals on how to effectively market their business on Houzz.com
  • Successfully close Co-Op & Enterprise level sales leads
  • Management of the full sales cycle, from securing new business partnerships to facilitating a smooth onboarding process for the professional

  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You To Have…

  • At least 5+ years of prior B2B inside sales experience
  • Outbound cold-calling experience
  • Focus on selling intangibles required (i.e. advertising, financial services, business services..)

  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have…

  • Tech-savviness - able to cogently conduct presentations virtually using assorted platforms and troubleshoot when complications arise

He/she will have a background that includes a mixture of sales operations, product management, data management and administrative support. He/she will ideally have some development background and the ability to understand and create scripts to support the needs of the team.

  • Work closely with the Operations team to optimize processes.
  • Maintain and build code snippets and tools to optimize the day to day operations.
  • Facilitate synergies between functions by understanding the shop process from prospecting to after-sales.
  • Test and implement new business processes, as well as documenting and training the team on them.
  • Deliver Ad Hoc reporting/analysis both from in-house sources.

    Houzz is looking for a sharp, hard working, and organised Intern to join our e-commerce Team in London, for a 6 month paid internship. This individual should be prepared to work in a fast-paced team environment, will finish the Internship having gained broad experience in various aspects of e-commerce and marketing knowledge and will have the opportunity to get some great experience in a business that is reshaping the home design and renovation industry around the world.
    We’re looking for a soon-to-be, new or recent graduate (or a career changer!) who loves to connect and help other people, who has excellent verbal and written communication skills, who is a self-starter that will roll up their sleeves no matter what the task, and who is super web-savvy.
    We are open to both those that are currently studying but available to work on a full-time basis, recent graduates or career changers. At minimum, we are looking for a full-time 6 month commitment.

    We’re looking for a tech savvy problem solver who is dedicated to making sure our vendors have everything they need to be successful on Houzz. We need a self-starter with strong communication skills who can quickly solve problems and execute on team initiatives.
    What You’ll Do

  • Resolve all inbound vendor inquiries about: order fulfillment, payment issues, and general account questions.
  • Review and approve Vendor Agreements.
  • Organize and activate vendor promotions by analyzing, verifying and tracking promotion reports. Work with the Buying and the Merchandise Teams to resolve any issues with promotion submissions.
  • Manage the flow of promotions ensuring that all promotions are loaded in a timely fashion to meet newsletter deadlines.
  • Actively engage vendors to build robust brand pages, understand the order fulfillment process, and improve vendor scores.
  • Work with vendors who are onboarded but not live on the site to obtain completed product data necessary to turn product listings live.
