Quando da quei mucchi di pagine non è emerso nulla di interessante in grado di trasformare il loro sogno in realtà si sono sentiti bloccati. Ci doveva essere un modo migliore. Houzz has an immediate opening for a proven Learning & Development Specialist to join our Training Team supporting Houzz Sales & Service channels. The ideal candidate will feel equally at home in facilitating instructor-led classroom training as well as partnering with leadership to drive performance with their representatives when not in a class. The role requires a dynamic individual who thrives in a changing environment, is self-driven, and proactively seeks cross-functional collaboration. This role reports to the Director of Training and requires a physical presence in our Irvine office daily. Telecommuting/working remotely is not available.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Classroom facilitation of new hire and continuing education curriculum leveraging both paper-based and eLearning delivery formats
  • Capturing and assessing detailed learner observations for employee handoff to channel leadership and collaborating to build a robust development plan tailored to the individual
  • Analyzing performance trends and behaviors to recommend specific employee development plans and continued refinement of training curriculum
  • Establishing feedback loop to continually monitor progress and assess opportunities
  • Partnering with internal Instructional Design resources to develop and enhance training content
  • Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

  • Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of corporate classroom facilitation experience
  • 2-3 years of experience developing high-performing sales teams highly preferred
  • Experience in multimodal facilitation and adult learning theory  
  • Passion for developing talent and elevating performance standards
  • APTD or CPLP certification a plus, but not required
  • Occasional travel may be required depending on business needs

    Houzz is looking for a talented individual to join our Sales Planning team. This person ​has exceptional communication skills and the ability to quickly establish rapport with all levels of internal staff. You are detail-oriented, have exceptional problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. 
    The ideal candidate enjoy​s​ working in a fast paced, dynamic environment and thrive​s​ on finding solutions to daily challenges. This individual is analytical, detail-oriented and has exceptional problem solving skills. We are looking for someone who loves working with data and uncovering the stories it tells. 
    You will also work closely with cross-functional teams to drive processes to support the strategic direction of the Sales teams. As a subject-matter expert, your strong analytical experience will help as you work with stakeholders to define and establish quality rules and definitions consistent with departmental and organizational strategies.
    Specific duties as a Senior Sales Analyst will include:

  • Establishing a framework of role-based metrics design to further the ability to measure, understand, compare and predict changes in productivity or required changes in capacity levels across the Sales organization.
  • Enabling senior management decision making for capacity-based staffing levels, role evolution and efficiency levels using the models developed.
  • Contributing to other departmental metrics, scorecards and business analysis as needed.
  • Partnering with Sales Operations, Sales, Finance and other groups to as needed to integrate capacity and productivity measures into the planning cycle and during key business reviews.
  • Perform sales and cost analysis for the Sales department.
  • Comparing monthly sales actuals to the sales goals and budget, identifying all variances.
  • Responsible for evaluating and assessing the variances for Sales Representatives, identifying trends.

  • Requirements:

  • 10+ year prior experience in a similar role is required.
  • The individual selected for this role must have strong technical and analytical skills and the ability to integrate and summarize large amounts of data from multiple databases or systems, leverage technology to continuously improve methods of data gathering and analysis.
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision. Strong interpersonal skills will allow him or her to work successfully in a team environment.
  • The ability to take a complicated subject, quickly identify the areas that need to be addressed and then present findings in a concise manner.
  • Must have very strong organizational, writing, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Expert level knowledge of EXCEL a must.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office

    Houzz, the largest home and design community in the world, is looking for an outstanding UK SEO and Product Specialist to join the international team. In this role, the individual will work with the UK and international teams to improve and continue developing and localising the UK site and apps.
    Top candidates will have at least two year experience in product localization as well as three year experience in content marketing creation and analysis. Knowledge about best SEO/SEM e-commerce practices is a plus. The individual should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, international environment where analytical skills as well as linguistic and cultural knowledge are essential.
    This individual will be responsible for the SEO, SEM, and product localization and development of the UK and Ireland sites and mobile apps.
    Responsibilities:

  • Localise all type of content (site, apps, marketing copies, guidelines, support, etc.)
  • Research and write quality, original online content in British English
  • Analyse marketing content performance
  • Develop and implement product features
  • Research market needs and apply them in product decisions
  • Perform quality checks for product features and flows
  • Sync with other teams and departments working for the UK site
  • Work with current team to ensure a consistent, accurate site
  • Assist other teams in their understanding of the site

  • Qualifications:

  • At least two years experience in product localisation
  • At least three years experience in content marketing
  • Degree in social science field preferred
  • Comfortable with and interested in internet technologies such as consumer sites and apps
  • Knowledge of search engine tools, advanced spreadsheet functionalities, and SEO/SEM tools and best practices
  • Native level proficiency in British English required
  • Deep understanding of the British culture and its specificities to produce high-quality localisation and product research and development
  • Strong written and verbal communication and writing skills
  • Fast learner, detail-oriented and organized person able to work both independently and in collaboration with a team
