Houzz, the world's largest community for home renovation and design, with 40M+ monthly users, is looking for an amazing Account Manager to join our sales team, based in Berlin. As an Account Manager, you will manage Houzz Professionals from across Germany.  Each is part of an annual advertising program (Pro+).  Your job is to maintain an ongoing relationship, optimize their profile and program with creative improvements, up-sell them on additional services, and manage their renewal for another year. You need to be comfortable promoting and defending  the benefits of a creative and directional advertising program.
The ideal candidate has a pleasant, business oriented personality, is a hard worker and very tech savvy. You must be relationship oriented and put a high value on customer service. You thrive in a fun and competitive, yet team oriented environment.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Manage Pro+ clients
  • Maintain ongoing contact with every account assigned to you
  • Renew annual contracts
  • Up-sell clients on additional packages
  • Meet minimum renewal and up-sell objectives
  • Meet minimum quantitative and qualitative account improvement objectives
  • Provide superior customer service, contribute to a positive work environment, and embody the Houzz culture
  • What do you need to be successful?
  • Impeccable verbal and written communication skills (German and English)
  • You should have phenomenal interpersonal skills, and enjoy talking with people in-person and over the phone
  • You love sales and get a buzz from building new relationships
  • Previous sales, or customer support experience
  • An expert user of the internet with strong tech capabilities is essential - we're all self-proclaimed tech geeks at Houzz!
  • Familiarity with CRM tools (such as Salesforce)
  • Verifiable track record of success
  • A sense of humour and a real people person, full of energy and positivity
  • Bonus points if you are a lover of home design and have a great Houzz profile!
