About the Role

The Productivity team empowers the entire engineering organization to move faster; efficiency and quality is at the heart of this team. As Houzz continues to grow, this team becomes more critical and impactful; everyone relies on the infrastructures and tools we build to develop, test and release features on a daily basis. As a member of this team, you will scale our development, release processes and build tools with significant multiplying impact.

What You'll Do

Build infrastructures and tools that the entire engineering organization can rely on

Build our next generation Continuous Integration/Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline for containerized services

Enhance our in-house release infrastructure

Scale development/release for a growing team with hundreds of engineers

At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have

Proficiency in web application programming (OOP, Java, Python, LAMP)

A good understanding of Linux, storage systems, network protocols and web services

B.S., M.S. or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent

Ideally, You'll Also Have

Experience with CI/CD, SaltStack, Docker, Kubernetes and Jenkins
