About the Role

Houzz is looking for a world-class BI Analyst to join our Advertising Analytics team. Our mission is to assist Houzz Advertising growth initiatives with data-driven insights. Our team is working on discovering information hidden in vast amounts of data to make intelligent business decisions and to deliver better products. Critical projects will focus on data-driven insights to guide product development and business direction. We are looking for someone to shape the way for financial and sales operation reporting.

What You'll Do

Collaborate with finance and sales teams to identify and document metrics definitions

Work with finance, sales, analytics, and other business partners to drive the development of reporting and analytics platforms, establish and automate processes, and ensure accuracy in financials

Partner with finance and sales teams to help automate manual workflows

Help continually improve ongoing data pipelines and automate or simplify self-service support for our business stakeholders

Own the end-to-end execution of projects by working with a broad cross-functional team

At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have

B.A./B.S. degree in a technical/quantitative discipline or equivalent practical experience

A passion for and track record of leveraging data in finance and sales operations

Advanced SQL Skills - ability to write complex and performant queries and data pipelines

Experience using Tableau

Attention to detail and accuracy

Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills

An ability to work independently and deliver quality results
