Houzz is looking for an excited individual who’s hungry to learn about the retail world and Ecommerce buying power. You would play an essential role, working alongside our category managers, as well as assisting our team uncover what our business opportunities are and how we can close that gap.

Responsibilities include:

Research competitor sites looking for brands that could potentially yield new business

Identify underdeveloped categories on houzz site using examples from built out assortments on competitor sites

Compare average retail pricing for a given category, ensuring we are picking up correct competitive pricing data

Help reformat data feeds and promotion templates within Excel and Google Sheets

Identify comparable replacement SKUs

Help in the formation trade show list

Aid Vendor support in uncovering patterns related to vendor compliance issues

Assist team with putting together meeting presentations both internal and Vendor-facing

Provide team with overall workflow assistance by taking on various tasks.
