Houzz is looking for friendly, goal-oriented individuals to join our E-Commerce Customer Experience Team. As a Customer Experience Team Lead, you will be in charge of managing an international growing team and planning and implementing the team’s strategy. This entails having the ability of identifying key medium and long term milestones, structuring strategies and processes to reach the objectives previously set and putting these strategies into action.
The ideal candidate for this position is strongly analytical and target oriented, enjoys and appreciates the challenge of problem solving, will remain calm under pressure, is strongly entrepreneurial and at the same time a true team player with a proven track record of empowering team members while structuring clear professional growth plans.
responsibilities
  • Lead, mentor and develop your team
  • Plan and implement the team’s strategy and P&L while identifying medium and long term milestones
  • Oversee the recruitment process for your team
  • Communicate regularly with your manager to identify challenges and monitor the team’s performance
  • Proactively assess and re-design existing processes with the objective of constant optimization and, when necessary, structure and implement entirely new ones
  • Liaise with engineering and various teams to help troubleshoot and solve problems for your team
  • Assist with handling and resolving all escalated vendor issues
  • Set the team KPIs to align incentives towards the broader goals of the company.
  • requirements
  • 3-4 years of team management experience in a customer facing role (preferably in an international environment)
  • Fluent in English and at least one other EU language (FR,DE,IT,ES)
  • Ability to prioritise tasks, remain calm under pressure and think on your feet
  • Excellent multi-tasker with the ability to maintain a long-term, broader vision while facing short-term, daily tasks
  • Strong computer skills (proficiency in Excel is required, proficiency is Salesforce is a strong plus)
  • Enthusiasm about change and eagerness to work in a very dynamic startup environment
  • Entrepreneurial & extremely proactive mindset.
  • Proven track record of delivering and hitting targets under pressure
