About the Role
Houzz, the revolutionary platform for residential remodeling and design, is looking for a consumer marketing leader to help increase traffic, drive new user acquisition, revenue and long term engagement.  This role will own all marketing activities tied to our eCommerce marketplace which is one of Houzz’s biggest businesses.
What You’ll Do
  • Set the vision, strategy and execution for end-to-end Marketplace marketing at Houzz
  • Manage and grow our team of high performance digital marketers
  • Create and execute paid search (Text and PLA) strategies, design and structure campaigns to maximize ROI and revenue
  • Measure and optimize paid search, display/video advertising and direct response social campaigns
  • Work with cross-functional teams of creatives and analysts to drive our landing page optimization, product feed, ad creative and cross-channel/device attribution models
  • Test new and advanced advertising platforms and features with the ability to define, measure and identify successful tests and scale these programs
  • Manage our paid digital marketing budget and campaign pacing
  • Leverage our strong, authentic brand and incredible wealth of content to execute on content marketing strategies through paid channels
  • At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have
  • 5-10+ years of consumer marketing experience with at least 5 years of paid and organic search experience driving eCommerce revenue
  • Strong people management capabilities in building and managing large high-performing teams
  • Experience managing budgets that are tens of millions annually
  • A proven track record of running large automated paid media campaigns on Google and Facebook
  • Experience marketing the full funnel from branding and awareness campaigns down to retargeting
  • Expertise in text and product listing ads on Google, with moderate experience across multiple channels such as SEM, Display and Social
  • Expertise at market positioning, value propositions and engaging messaging
  • A balance of a creative and analytical mindset and interest
  • A detail oriented mindset with strong communication skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Ideally, You’ll Also Have
  • eCommerce experience with marketplaces that have a large catalog
  • Paid YouTube and Instagram experience
  • A bachelors or masters degree in a quantitative field such as economics, math or  computer science
