Houzz is looking for a Mobile Product Manager (consumer products) to work closely with engineering, design and product teams in Tel Aviv and Palo Alto and help building the experience that millions of users worldwide have when they use Houzz on their mobile and tablet devices.
What You'll Do
  • Collaborate with engineering, design and analytics to drive the strategy and roadmap, manage timelines and frequent product iterations for our consumer growth strategy, for mobile devices (iOS and Android)
  • Own the lifecycle communications strategy to activate, retain and reactivate users
  • Use data-driven analysis to identify key improvements and experiments to optimize funnels (sign up, app download, save to ideabook etc.) across the mobile app
  • Define and analyze mobile product metrics to deeply understand the needs of mobile and measure success.
  • Stay up to date on the latest mobile developments technologies and features and come up with new ways to delight Houzz users.
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • A minimum of 4+ years of experience in product management at a consumer internet company with a proven track record of successful, consumer-facing product launches that touch millions of users
  • Have a clear track record of shipping successful mobile products on iOS and Android, specifically applications that already have large and rapidly-growing user bases (web PM experience- an advantage)
  • Excellent product sense and thoughtfulness about the dynamics of a product ecosystem. You regularly keep up with new products to learn how they grow and work
  • A natural ability to make things happen around you. You manage project ambiguity, complexity and interdependencies in an organized and structured way. You are eager to be the glue between other functions, doing what it takes to make our product successful
  • Strong analytical skills; you are able to define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
  • An extremely detail-oriented mindset; you believe that a great product is the sum of an inordinate number of small, thoughtful decisions
  • Excellent communication skills and intuition for communication strategy at every level -- within teams (both global and local), within the company, to users, to press and other audiences
  • Experience leading post-launch optimizations; developing A/B testing strategies and prioritizing incremental feature enhancements
  • Fluent  English (both verbal and written), communication is mostly in English
  • Academic degree, a technical degree is preferred.
  • Ability to travel frequently to the US.
