Houzz China is looking for a high-character Office Administrator to work from our Shanghai office, support the whole China team and visitors from various countries.

Position

Your will report to the Supply Chain Area Manager, work with the China team based in Shanghai/Hangzhou/Shenzhen, and international colleagues from London/Berlin/Los Angeles for their visiting activities.

Please note we are open to both part-time and full-time applicants for this vacancy; please specify your preference in your application.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to)

Fulfill business tasks e.g. pre-shipment inspection, sample review, factory audit related to general team scheduling

Coordinate team meeting/activities, maintaining strong level of organization across the China team

Maintain hardware and stationary for the team to make sure the local team has everything they need to operate on a daily basis

Support for international visitors to China. Assist them in securing visas for travel, and provide suggestions for transportation/accommodation within China

Communicate with service providers, e.g. those for office management/rental, recruitment, payroll, accounting and taxation

Qualification

Bachelor degree in a relevant discipline

3+ years experience on similar function, ideally in fast paced, multinational companies

Good level of business English, both verbal and written; ability to communicate with colleagues across multiple time zones, countries and locations.

Wide variety of office software, tools and systems

Basic data analysis skills - exposure to Excel, Google Sheets, etc.

Proven track record of attention detail and care in your work - meticulous level of organization

Problem solver comfortable with constantly changing ad-hoc tasks

Communication with patience and comfort with juggling multiple priorities at once

Knowledge of China travel, geography, and transportation
