About the Role
The People Services team connects business needs with employee needs, and the People Operations Coordinator is a key member of the team! You will provide day-to-day system and People Services team member support. As a People Operations Coordinator, you will administer the employee life-cycle business processes in Workday through oversight of the daily operations in the HR system. You will also field employee inquiries and requests within the People Services Department and maintain quality and consistency of HRIS database information and personnel data including reviewing and maintaining accurate transactions with regard to employee time off and time and attendance records, auditing, reporting and engagement with our internal client groups.
What You'll Do
  • Respond to internal and external human resources-related inquiries or requests in a timely and effective manner and provide assistance or redirect to an appropriate team member
  • Administer the day-to-day processes of the employee lifecycle within Workday
  • Maintain and audit records of personnel-related data to ensure all employment requirements are met and maintained accurately in Workday
  • Provide process improvement recommendations to People Services's leadership team
  • Maintain confidentiality concerning personnel actions, legal actions and other organizational information
  • Coordinate and administer new employee on-boarding, training, benefit enrollment and I-9 processes
  • Troubleshoot, analyze, recommend solutions and resolve time and attendance problems/issues
  • Coordinate and administer employee separation process including documentation, attrition data and follow up
  • Schedule meetings, interviews, People Services events and maintain the People Services team agenda 
  • Assist in ad-hoc People Services and support other functions as assigned 
  • At a Minimum, We'd Like You to Have
  • At least two years experience working in an administrative support capacity in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience working with Google Suite and MacOS 
  • Experience maintaining employee data in Workday or equivalent HRIS system
  • A customer-focused attitude
  • Basic knowledge of human resources processes and best practices 
  • The highest level of personal and professional integrity
  • The ability to take deliberate action with high attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to perform in a fast paced, startup work environment by managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines as assigned
  • The ability to work effectively in a multi-site team environment

  • Ideally, You'll Also Have
  • A Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • Experience in staffing, workforce planning, performance management and business operations
  • Knowledge of CA labor law; multi-state and international is a huge bonus
  • Human Resources certification such as Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Society of Human Resources - Certified Professional (SHRM-CP)
