About the Role

The Procure to Pay/ Accounts Payable Manager will be responsible for developing and maintaining the procure to pay and accounts payable processes, defining the roles and responsibilities associated with the P2P process, and aligning the ERP (NetSuite/ Workday) implementation to the procurement business and Account Payable requirements.

This candidate will also be the primary subject matter expert for all elements of the P2P and Accounts Payable, and will offer training and support for the procurement and accounts payable processes globally. This role will also be responsible for the creation, maintenance and enforcement of the Global Procurement, T&E, and credit card policies. This role will partner heavily with key business partners within the finance organization and throughout Houzz, including International Sourcing, IT, HR, Engineering, Sales, and Legal. This position reports directly to the Assistant Controller or Sr. Accounting Manager.

What You'll Do

Partner with Legal during new vendor on boarding to ensure business requirements are met

Work closely with the Finance team on budget spend to maximize cost efficiency

Establish, streamline and continuously improve procurement/ expense, AP and T&E policies

Provide training and enforce the policy compliance

Key lead on the procurement process for ERP (NetSuite or Workday) or other procurement and T&E application implementation

At a Minimum, We’d Like You to Have

BA/BS is preferable

Five (5) years business experience in the area of Procure to Pay and Accounts Payable

Experience with NetSuite Payable, Employee expense, and Procurement modules or other Employee expense and Procurement application

Procurement Contracts

Lead a small team

Manage ad-hoc projects

Work independently

Test NetSuite or Workday procurement and Accounts Payable scenarios

Ability to align deliverables to Business Users

Thorough understanding of P2P and Accounts Payable processes

Strong business process skills with the ability to optimize business functions through focused improvement initiatives

Proven cross-functional team leadership and disciplined project management skills required. Effective working both within a team, as well as independently and cross-functional
