Houzz, the world's largest online community for home renovation and design is looking for a Sales Trainer  to support our Sydney based sales and account management team. In this role you will be responsible for our most important asset – our talent.  
You will be key to supporting our sustainable growth. As a training specialist you will work across the sales floor, touching every team member. You will have the opportunity to shape Houzz training and management processes. There are no boundaries to this leadership role as the team evolves.
Reports to ANZ Director & Sales Training Manager.
Role responsibilities:
Training
  • Oversee new hire progress through their first 2-3 months at Houzz. Administer a structured training and performance management framework in partnership with sales managers.  
  • Assume responsibility for new joiner AE & AM week 1&2 delivery. Ensure all new candidates have a smooth and coherent on-boarding experience and introduction to Houzz.
  • Liaise with EU and US training managers to consume and share best practice to/from Sydney.
  • Build and evolve training curriculum content and handbooks .
  • Conduct regular call and process shadowing across Sydney team, aiming to complete at least 20 coaching forms each month.
  • Host and organise regular periodic training sessions for all Sydney reps. Start to develop increasingly advanced training curriculum beyond just the first 90 days.
  • Support the roll out of new processes and tools.
  • Own all sales collateral for Sydney team and drive consistency, quality and effectiveness of this collateral.
  • In addition to leading the sales training curriculum, you will also take responsibility for managing the SDR channel to qualify and drive leads to the sales team. This may include managing an internal team and/or external providers to deliver desired sales outcomes. Responsibilities will include:
  • Lead and manage a team of SDRs, actively coaching and counselling your team on a weekly basis to ensure they meet their monthly targets.
  • Conduct weekly activity and performance reviews.
  • Ensure a high performing & energised SDR team that proudly represents the Houzz brand.
  • Maintain regular analysis and reporting to identify key area of strength and improvements needed.
  • Requirements:
  • 2+ years experience in an outbound sales environment.
  • Exposure and familiarity with sales enablement tools, Salesforce experience essential.
  • Proven track record of coaching and developing a sales team.
  • Successful and consistent sales track record.
  • Excellent communication skills:you’ll need to be confident communicating on a variety of levels and know how to ‘sell’ Houzz and inspire confidence in others.
  • Methodical and process-driven approach to work and strong organisational skills.
  • Proven self-starter who can take initiative and thrive in a role where you’ll need to build and innovate on how we do things today.
  • You have a record of personal and professional integrity. This is a high trust position and you must practice the highest level of professionalism.
